Using Invisible Terrains

The rendering of the terrain can be turned off by togling the self.Indoor value. But in some cases, it is necesary to turn off the terrain while still outdoors. An example of this is in a few of the OGRE levels. These urban levels have the street models placed just below the level of the terrain, which is invisible. The result is that the player and the pawns seem to be walking on the street. Below is a screen shot from OGRE. Notice how the mech in the foreground seems to be walking in the middle of what seems like a street. These are floor models made up of 128 x 128 x 1 units. Each tiles one texture to create a street. It is placed less then 1 unit below the terrain.
